The moment you receive your high-grade Cast Iron from us, you would be delighted to know that it is already pre-seasoned with Gingelly Oil (100% Natural Sesame). This natural coating is applied after your cookware has been casted to not only prevent it from rusting but also is ready to be used for your wholesome homemade cooking.

After using your Cast Iron cookware, it is crucial to wash with a gentle cleanser without harsh chemicals. When there is debris stuck to your Cast Iron, put it on high heat, pour water in it along with your dishwashing liquid, and let the water evaporate and cook the debris off. Use a wooden or metal spatula to scrape the debris and lift it off. (Instead of water, you can also scrub the pan with Kosher salt or coarse sea salt, then rinse it out as well as dry. Finally season it with natural vegetable oil. We have the perfect  Natural Eco-Friendly Dishwashing Liquid for your Cast Iron.

To maintain the quality of your Cast Iron, continuously apply natural vegetable oil all over your Cast Iron cookware to prevent rusting. It is best to useit for everyday cooking  since it immensely helps build up the seasoning which creates a protective water-resistant layer on the metal surface  which achieves a non-stick effect.
